Ilhan for Congress Seeks Digital Specialist

Overview

Ilhan for Congress is seeking a talented, creative and motivated applicant for a full-time Digital Specialist position. This position will be based in the Minneapolis campaign office.

Pay Range

$4000 – $4500/month, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities Include

  • Shooting, editing, and distributing videos for the campaign
  • Designing and creating graphics and animations for the Congresswoman
  • Drafting social media for the Congresswoman
  • Managing campaign website updates
  • Tracking social media and web metrics and advising on best practices
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of digital or media production experience, preferably in political or legislative fields.
  • Proficiency with professional camera equipment/editing software
  • Familiarity with animation a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
  • A high level of organization and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously
  • Applicants should share the Congresswoman’s progressive values and have a desire to see progressive changes to our political system
