“The #MeToo Movement seeks to raise awareness of the pervasiveness of sexual assault and abuse in society, and seeks to eradicate it. The only victims of the #MeToo Movement are sexual abuse and harassment in society. I am a lifelong progressive. And I have yet to come across another “progressive,” besides Mr. Melton-Meaux who have fought to paint corporations as the victims of the #MeToo Movement.”

You can watch the full press conference here.

Rep. Omar also released a new TV ad highlighting Mr. Melton-Meaux’s work protecting corporations against discrimination lawsuits from working women and defending the use of non-disclosure agreements by employers against victims of sexual harassment and abuse.
